The Bookworm Club - the place to get social about reading

At the monthly meetings, we eat and talk about the books we read.  Then, everyone chooses a book they want to read for the next month. The sign-up for the books happens at the monthly meetings but students can also sign up anytime in the library.   This wiki also contains a discussion forum for the books.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page for directions on how to edit this wiki.  This will allow you to sign up for a group book and/or join the discussion.

Books are here!!  Be sure to swing by the library to pick up your book with enough time to read before our next meeting!

Bookworm Club Officers  

2009-2010 Officers:

President: Amanda Dunken

VP:           

Managers: 

Club Mascot: Shanna Myers

 

Julie will appoint the President and Vice President but Managers are a volunteer position.

The President and Vice President will be in charge of running club meetings.  They will also set policy and establish club routines with the help of all members.  When the President is unavailable, the VP will run the meeting.  The VP and President must be able to communicate with each other outside of meetings.

Managers help Julie run the Wiki.  If you are interested in learning how to set up and run a Web 2.0 appplication like wikis, this is a great opportunity to get some experience.
